The Nature Festival is a collaborative movement of more than 200 community groups and organisations. We exist to celebrate our unique love for nature in South Australia.
Sitting at the intersection of nature + culture, we feature more than 350 experiences of art, adventure, music, food, wine, wellbeing, gardens, and Aboriginal culture, with plenty of free and family-friendly events.

South Australia is renowned for its festivals and events, food and wine, vibrant arts, stunning landscapes and extraordinary wildlife. Now in its seventh year, the Nature Festival brings these elements together, celebrating the vibrant experiences that connect us with place, community and the natural world.
This year’s theme, SEED, invites us to reflect on how small beginnings can shape our future, the seeds we plant in our homes, our communities and culture, and in our connection with nature. Across South Australia, from city gardens and coastlines to parks, reserves and regional landscapes, the festival offers more than 350 experiences that celebrate these connections.
I encourage you to explore the program, be active, discover somewhere new and enjoy the many affordable, family-friendly experiences on offer. I hope you find something that sparks your curiosity, brings you closer to nature and inspires you to plant your own seed for a more prosperous and sustainable future for South Australia.
I extend my thanks to the event hosts, volunteers, partners and everyone who helps bring Nature Festival to life. Your passion and commitment make this celebration of our state and its natural places possible.
