We encourage local residents (aged 12 years and over) to join us for a relaxed walk to learn about some of the common birds in our area. The walk will be led by local resident and experienced birdwatcher, Chris Kirby. Birds are an ever present way for us to relate with the natural world and experience awe and wonder.
We will meet at the Rotunda on Woodlake Drive Reserve, walking approximately 3km through some of the Craigburn Farm and Sturt Gorge trails. Please meet at the Rotunda from 8.45 am ready for a prompt 9 am departure.
It is advised that participants wear closed footwear, long pants, a hat and bring a water bottle.
This event is suitable for aged 12 years and over.
Numbers are limited so get in quick!
All proceeds from this event will go towards the work WRAG is doing to restore Woodlake Drive Reserve and its adjoining green spaces, as well as continuing to run future community events.
