' Awe Inspired ' is an exhibition of artworks created by a collective of local artists in the Willunga region.
Artists invariably draw inspiration for their work from things that they are in awe of. The process of transferring that inspiration into a finished artwork is totally unique to each individual artist and is diverse and fascinating. ' Awe Inspired ' - held in the Willunga Glass Studio showcases this diversity perfectly, with 25 artists of varying mediums exhibiting their own unique awe inspired works. Works range from glass, mosaics, woodwork, metal and leather work, watercolours, acrylics, oils, jewellery, ceramics and many more mixed media works.
On Sunday 29th September some of our exhibiting artists will hold an artists talk discussing their own process of ' Awe inspired Art ' and is a perfect opportunity for you to come along and be inspired yourself, ask questions and gain some insight into the thought process behind the artwork. This event will be held at the gallery between 2 and 3pm with tea and coffee provided.
