After the awesome success of last year's event, Home Sweet Habitat is back, the Australian Institute of Architects ArchiEd and Regenerative Design crew are coming together again for a day of fun and exploring our built environment.
This time around we will also be joined by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects to help bring some amazing insights into how important landscapes are to our environments.
We want to show kids we can do better than just create cities that are only sustainable – we can create cities that give back to the environment and the community.
In this exciting hands-on workshop, we'll dive into all the elements and aspirations that help us become nature's best buddies – place, water, energy, health + happiness, materials, equity, and beauty.
The kids will break into teams to tackle a theme of their choice, exploring the surroundings, speaking with experts, and coming back together to show us how they can make Adelaide the best place to live.
They will cut, draw, stick, build, and create the city of the future and together, we'll figure out how to transform it into a home that gives back and helps our planet thrive.
Let's become champions of regeneration and show the world how awe-inspiring the minds of kids can be!
This workshop is a teacher-supervised event aimed at ages 7 – 10
