Step back in time and explore the rich pastoral heritage of the Flinders Ranges with a guided walk around Old Wilpena Station. Hosted by the Friends of Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, this immersive experience offers a fascinating glimpse into the area's historical and cultural legacy.
The Friends are a dedicated group of volunteers who collaborate with National Parks and Wildlife Service Rangers to preserve and restore the natural, Aboriginal, and pioneer heritage of this remarkable park. Their deep commitment and expertise make them the perfect guides for this insightful tour.
Members from the friends group will be on site between 10am and 3pm. Look for their signage and banners at the old cart, at the start of the Living with the Land Trail and at the garden gate to Old Wilpena Homestead.
