What better way to learn about your favourite nature spot in your neighbourhood than from hearing from the people who care for it?
Join us for a guided biodiversity walk along Windsor Street Linear Trail to learn about how the City of Unley converted a concrete open drain into a native plant corridor that provides a unique linear trail for residents.
Hear about and see the various indigenous plants that have been reintroduced to the area and learn how you can create a wildlife friendly garden at home.
Tours will be led by City of Unley staff from the Biodiversity and City Design teams.
The content is most suitable for adults and older children. The walk will not be difficult but may be undulating or uneven in places.
Meet at the corner of Marion Street and Windsor Street, Unley.
We encourage participants to use sustainable methods of transport to and from the event, i.e. walk, cycle, bus or car pool.
