Interested in enhancing biodiversity?
Join us for a two-hour planting session to enhance local biodiversity and provide food and habitat for our beautiful wildlife. And also reduce those pesky weeds!
In collaboration with Town of Gawler, Gawler Environment & Heritage Association and Kersbrook Landcare Nursery, a selection of native grass, sedge and flax species will be planted within the stormwater basin during this community working bee.
Key project stakeholders will provide a brief planting demonstration as well as helpful guidance during the event. They will also share their knowledge on the native birds, amphibians, insects and small critters which we aim to attract to this special natural space.
Everyone is welcome!
