Town of Gawler

The Town of Gawler is a local government area located approximately 42 kilometres north of Adelaide city, on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. The area has rich history in becoming South Australia’s first regional settlement back in 1839. Prior to this, Gawler was a meeting place for aboriginal peoples of the Adelaide Plains for thousands of years.
